Reflecting on 2012

This past year the Honor Board continued successfully hosting several events while promoting integrity on campus. The student body elected several new members to the Honor Board this year! Our current General Body has twenty-two exceptional members:

In December, we held our Donut Cheat event before the last week of classes (Thanks Sandy!). We handed out donuts, hot chocolate, and coffee in the library while reminding students not to succumb to cheating during these tumultuous finals.

We held our second Week of Honor this past year. SGA, SFA, and Honor Board held a Meet and Greet with staff and students to kick it off this September. In addition,  we hosted a dinner where Honor Board demonstrated two mock Honor System investigations and hearings.  Lastly, we held our trivia night and learned about Stevens history.

In the Spring, the Honor Board continued its educational endeavors in the history realm and held its first Behind the Books event. S.C. Williams library graciously helped us display artifacts owned by Stevens. There were several impressive collections including some Stevens Family memorabilia, books written by Leonardo da Vinci, and various items of historical significance donated to Stevens. This February, the Honor Board will be holding this event again with some new objects on display, so be sure to stop by!

Lastly, Spring elections are coming up and there are several open seats including for the freshman class. Stay tuned!
